‘Thanks to your kindness and willingness to give, we were able to help an amazing cause in memory of an amazing person’

Evie Brisebois of Zig’s Bar, and the family of Brady Levola — Anita Levola, Trevor Levola and Jorja Levola — present a cheque for $22,000 to Maison McCulloch Hospice. The money was raised at a hospice fundraiser at Zig’s in honour of the Levola’s son, Brady, who passed away from cancer at the city’s only palliative care centre.

We are writing to express our deepest gratitude for the incredible support and generosity shown during our recent fundraising event.

The “Cheers to 23 years” celebration in memory of Brady Levola was truly a success, and we  couldn’t have done it without the help of our community. We raised $22,000 for Maison McCulloch Hospice.

Your contributions have surpassed all expectations and have had a positive impact on Maison McCulloch Hospice. Thanks to your kindness and willingness to give, we were able to help an amazing cause in memory of an amazing person.

A special thanks to Zig’s Bar for their support — we couldn’t have done it without you. And to the many personal donations received, thank you so much!

Please know that your contributions will be utilized effectively and responsibly to keep the doors open at no cost to residents or their families. Maison McColloch Hospice is not fully funded by the government, so every year the Sudbury Hospice Foundation needs to raise $1.6 million to operate.

We ask that you continue to contribute to Sudbury Hospice Foundation by donating directly or purchasing 50/50 tickets. You can purchase tickets online here HospiceHug5050.ca. We never  thought that we would ever be there, especially with our 22-year-old son, but we are grateful we were.

Once again, thank you for your incredible generosity and unwavering support. It is because of you that we were able to give back to Maison McColloch Hospice for taking care of our loved ones at an extremely difficult time in our lives.

We look forward to keeping you updated on our next fundraising project and continuing this  journey together.

With sincere gratitude,

The Levola Family
