The family announces with great sorrow her passing in Sudbury, Monday, April 22, 2024 at the age of 71 years. Beloved wife of Doug Heckman of Capreol. Daughter of the late Rheal and of the late Thérèse (née Lapointe) Lalonde. Loving mother of Carmen Gaudette of Garson, Koreen Huard (Rob), Connie Chevrier (Daryl), Darlene Aubin (Rob), Donna Heckman all of Sudbury and Sarrah Chenier (Alain) of Capreol. Dear sister of Roger Lalonde (Anne) of Val Therese and Carole Lalonde (Winston) of Timmins. Predeceased by her siblings Louise Lavictoire (late Marcel), Raymond Lalonde and Linda Knowler (Darcy). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered her husband, daughters, sons-in-law and by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Diane worked as a health care aid for most of her life. She showed so much love and compassion for all of her family, relatives, friends and residents. Diane enjoyed spoiling her fur baby Rosey, camping, dancing, karaoke, playing cards, making crafts, shopping and most of all family time. You were always the life of the party. Our daughters will surely miss your daily phone calls. We are sending all of our love and prayers until we meet again my love.
