The Northern Ontario Railroad Museum & Heritage Centre’s inaugural Grow Together Festival runs June 8, kicking off the summer season with a celebration of all things gardening and wellness.

The Grow Together Festival, running 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will feature a vibrant marketplace where local vendors and organizations can showcase their gardening and wellness initiatives. Attendees can expect engaging speakers, informative booths filled with expert advice, and exciting activities designed to inspire and educate.

Whether you're a seasoned gardener looking for new tips or a curious newcomer eager to explore the world of permaculture and healthy living, the Grow Together Festival offers something for everyone.

The festival also serves as a launchpad for the exciting Sunny Sunday Series, running every Sunday from May 26 to Sept. 22 (1-2:30 p.m.).

Presenters and booth moderators at the Grow Together Festival are invited to sign up and lead captivating workshops throughout the summer and fall. These workshops will focus on promoting gardening and wellness knowledge within the community.

The Sunny Sundays culminate in a vibrant Fall Harvest Festival on Saturday, Sept. 22 (11 a.m. – 3 p.m.).

This celebratory event encourages local growers to connect and share their harvest bounty. Come exchange bundles and baskets of your excess crops with produce brought in by other community members.

It's a fantastic opportunity to discover new favorite vegetables and fruits or exchange tips with your fellow enthusiasts, all while reducing food waste and strengthening local connections.

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener, a wellness enthusiast, or simply curious to learn more, the Grow Together Festival promises an enriching experience for all ages.
