In loving memory of Maria Luisa Cucullo (nee Vocaturo) age 71 who passed away peacefully on Thursday evening May 2, 2024, at Maison McCulloch Hospice, with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her beloved husband Francesco “Frank” Cucullo of 51 years and three wonderful children Assunta “Cindy”, Patrizia “Patty” and Francesco “Tony” (Cora). She will be sadly missed by her loving grandchildren Luca and Myra. Maria was Born and raised in Italy in the heart of CALABRIA!! Maria had a spirit that was as boundless as the acreages of land she lived on. She was a true-blue Italiana with a laugh and smile that could brighten the darkest of days and the warmest hug you’ll ever know. Maria is survived by her siblings Vince Vocaturo, Lucia Nardandrea (husband Nicola, predeceased), Anthony Vocaturo (wife Angela), Nella Quesnel (husband Guy) Pasquale Vocaturo, Frank Vocaturo (wife Tracy), Guiseppe (Pino) Vocaturo (wife Shauna), Giannino Vocaturo, Rita Bradley (husband Jason). She will be dearly missed by all her nieces and nephews. She will now be reunited with both of her parents Raffaele and Carmela Vocaturo and her brother Giuseppe Vocaturo. She was an incredible Wife, Mother and Nanna with a zest for life that was unparalleled. Her love and commitment to family knew no bounds. Maria was a dedicated homemaker and women of many talents; she enjoyed maintaining her bountiful garden and no family gathering was complete without a delicious homemade meal she prepared. Her commitment to those she loved knew no bounds, she showed all who were close to her that success is born out of hard work and an unyielding determination, regardless of the obstacles one endures. She fought her battle with cancer with dignity, she never once complained about her journey, which made us all stronger.

Friends may gather from 2-4PM and 6-8PM on Monday, May 6, 2024, with parish prayers at 3PM.

Entombment at the LaSalle Cemetery.
