WEBER, Carol Gwen (1947 - 2024)

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness, the family regrets to announce the sudden passing of Carol Gwen Weber, on April 18, 2024, at the young age of 77 years, in Sudbury.

The daughter of the late Leonard and the late Phyllis Ridsdill.  Carol is survived by her loving partner Wilfred Lalonde of 37 years, her children Debi Gionette (Doug Currie), Sean Weber, and Sheldon Weber.

Carol has four grandchildren whom she cherished, Breanna Gionette, Ashley Gionette, Brendan Weber, and Mackenzie Weber, along with her eight beautiful great grandchildren, Vincent, Nicholas, Nevaeh, Aurora, Naomi, Nathan, Shailyn, and Ava-Rose.

Carol had a zest for life. Camping and all outdoor activities were where she was happiest. She treasured the time she often spent with her grandchildren and all of her greats! Carol was full of wise words of wisdom and always had a story to share.

Carol was an avid member of the golden age club in Onaping Falls. She loved to put on a good tea and cook up a storm for all to enjoy!  She loved baking and dessert before supper was quite normal!

Carol will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.  She was an intelligent, beautiful woman who was loved beyond measure and touched the hearts of so many.

Love and chocolates Mom/Granny!

Until we meet again. You will be forever in our hearts.

A celebration of life will be announced by the family on a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to the Kidney Foundation of Sudbury.

Please join us on Wednesday, May 15, at St. John’s United Church, 44 Third Ave N, Levack Ont., for the service at 11am.
