If there are any pieces of furniture on your wish list, you’re in luck. A local retailer is about to have an enormous warehouse sale with a wide range of items available.
Whether it’s a sofa, loveseat, recliner, bedroom or dining room furniture, appliances or even mattresses, “pretty much every category of furniture we’re going to carry” will be included, says Ashley HomeStore North store manager Grant Carriere.
“Some of these items are going to be scratch-and-dent items, maybe something that was discontinued or a cancelled order that we’re just clearing out to get rid of. These are one-off items, there are no orders and it’s cash and carry. Just show up and load your trailer.”
Ashley’s clearance depot has been closed since Covid, and over time, many great items have been piling up. This weekend it will be re-opening for the first time in 4 years.
“We are finally ready to re-open and clear everything out,” says Carriere. “The grand re-opening is a one-day sale this Saturday, May 4th. The savings will be absolutely incredible at up to 90% off.”
The clearance depot is located at 74 National Street in Garson, ON. It is attached to Ashley’s warehouse, off Maley Drive.
Items also include customer no fits and floor models. “Every piece has its own story as to how it found its way to the depot,” says the manager. This means shoppers can enjoy huge savings on quality pieces.
The sale couldn’t come at a better time, when prices for everything these days seem to be at an all-time high. It’s also the perfect time for the beginning of cottage and camp season. You can find something great for your home and send your old stuff to camp—or if you get an especially great deal, take it straight to camp.
It’s an excellent opportunity for families in particular. “You can find something you won’t be sad your kids scratched because it already has a few small imperfections and is heavily discounted,” says Carriere.
It couldn’t be more convenient. Take what you purchase home the same day; there’s no ordering and no waiting. Just bring your truck or trailer and take your purchases home on the spot. Delivery is also an option.
