Folks are invited to visit the Adult and Youth Enrichment Centre on May 9 for a community barbecue.
The centre is located at 1050 Lonsdale Ave. and the event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The barbecue will feature games, events, food, music therapy and more, the centre told Sudbury.com.
The centre works with adults and youth who struggle with mental health and physical disabilities.
Multiple services are available for adults and youth with disabilities, including a life skills day program, continuing educational opportunities and outings.
“We provide a supportive environment where individuals can socialize, enhance their life skills, and pursue employment opportunities, focusing on strengths rather than disabilities,” the centre said. “We are an equal opportunity agency providing quality instruction and therapeutic care services.”
