Leonard Ernest Daoust June 20, 1945 - May 4, 2024 (78)
Peacefully at the age of 78, Leonard passed away on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, in Sudbury at Health Sciences North. Beloved father of Pauline Daoust of Capreol Jason Daoust (Jamie Roque) of Hanmer. Cherished grandfather of Jayde, Jenny (predeceased Nov. 2, 2023), Tanisha, Jazlyn, Lexie, Khia, Saxin and great grandchildren Harlow, Saul, Seth, Jayce, Nova, and Eli. Dear son of Elsie Roy (nee Rivet) (nee Daoust) predeceased, and Ernest Vaillancourt. Forever remembered by his brothers and sisters, Albert (predeceased), BC, Denise, Toronto, Marcel, Oakville, Linda, Barrie, Fred (Helen), Oshawa, Lorraine, Sudbury, Roland (predeceased) and Rolande (predeceased). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Visitation at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, Thursday May 9th, 2024, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada or the Lung Association would be appreciated.
