Wayne Taylor, a devoted Chaplain of the Christian faith hailing from Markstay, Ontario, passed away on May 1st,2024. Born on January 7, 1954, Wayne leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and cherished memories. 

Wayne is survived by his sister Marlene, brother Ross, Aunt Nancy (Kamal), Aunt Joyce, Uncle George, Uncle Neil. Wayne was predeceased by his mother Elodie (Jane) Taylor, sister Ellodie Marki, Aunt Laura, Aunt Carol, Aunt Elizabeth, Uncle Parker, Uncle William, and Uncle Delmer.

Throughout his life, Wayne served as a Chaplain and drove taxi throughout the Sudbury area. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Wayne's niece, Sheila Clifford, shared a special bond with him, spending countless hours in his company. Their time together was a source of joy and gratitude for both of them. Wayne also enjoyed visits with his Aunt Joyce and her granddaughter Sara, finding comfort in family connections. In his neighbourhood, Wayne was a beloved figure, with neighbours always looking out for him. In addition to his immediate family, Wayne is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will carry his memory forward with love. 

Wayne's absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness and unwavering faith will be dearly missed.

A service and burial to honour Wayne's life will take place on Thursday, May 9th,2024, at LaSalle Cemetery at 10 a.m.
