BOUFFARD, Raynald (Renald) (1939 – 2024)

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Mr. Raynald Bouffard, Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the age of 84 years, in Sudbury, Ontario.  He leaves behind his children Nathalie, Lyne (John), Suzanne (Pierre) all of Timmins and Annick of Ottawa.  He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Meghan and Jessica (Connor) of Timmins. Raynald leaves behind his brothers Gaetan (Odette), Jean Guy (Claudette predeceased), Ange Aime (Micheline), Gilbert (Marie) and his sisters Rejeanne (Michel), Yollande and Chantal (Mario).  Predeceased by his wife Sylvie Rioux and his partner Beatrice Mathieu.

Raynald was a man of all trades, simple, and passionate about his work.  He wore many hats working as a truck driver, construction worker, mechanic, plumber, and electrician.  As a teenager Raynald worked as a butcher for the family’s supermarket in Petit Matane, Quebec.

Raynald was a father who provided for the needs of his family. During his retirement years, he anticipated his trips, travelling from the east coast to the west coast of Canada.

The family will receive friends for a celebration of life to be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 1:00pm, at the Monseigneur Pierre Grenier Cemetery, Girard Drive, in Hearst, Ontario.

Donations can be made to the Fondation de l'Hôpital Notre-Dame, Hearst, Ontario, in his memory.
