Home Sleep Study

Sleep is common to every human being on the planet yet sleep disorders are under diagnosed and under treated.
Sleep is so important to mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. Most people know they have a sleep disorder but won't go through the testing in a laboratory in order to get treated.
This can be due to several reasons such as anxiety, mobility issues or simply because they cannot take time off from work for a 12 hour test.
I bring an alternative.
A take home test with only 3 sensors that you wear for 1 night in the comfort of your own bed.
Home Sleep Apnea Test (HSAT) or Level III sleep study is not covered by the OHIP in Ontario. The cost of the test is $175.00 and might be covered under private insurance.
Once the device is returned, I create a report and then it is interpreted by a certified sleep specialist. The result is faxed to your healthcare provider and emailed to you. The report will have a diagnosis and recommendations for treatment.
Don't have a family doctor? No issues. This is a no referral service and results can be brought to a clinic for follow-up and treatment.
