Gérard William Joseph Sauvé, 72, born in Témiscaming Québec, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on September 23, 2022. Gérard’s favourite thing was helping his friends and family by fixing or tinkering with anything that might need repairs, or just giving it his unique touch. Anyone who knew “Jiggs” knew he loved to be a joker and make everyone laugh. His smile, and bright blue eyes always lit up the room. Gérard, bright, intelligent, resourceful, funny, and most importantly a loving family man. Father to Stéphane and Michel Sauvé, Grandfather to Kaleb Sauvé, brother in-law and best friend to Julie Graveline, and loved by her boys Matthew, Jeffrey (Julianne), and their kids Eli and Lily who never failed to light up his day.
His brothers and sisters, Jacques (Carol), Jean-Paul (Linda), Ginette (Paul), Pauline, and Andre (Sonya). Most dear to his heart was his, now united, late wife Gisèle.
Gérard Sauvé will truly be missed and remembered by all. On Saturday October 15th 2022, there will be a moment for all to gather and remember, at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, between 11am and 2pm.
