The Sudbury Blueberry Festival returns again for 2024 from July 17-19.

The festival was taken over by Autumnwood Mature Lifestyle Community last year. Organizers of the previous iteration of the blueberry festival had been looking for another organization to host the event.

Hosted by Red Oak Villa, this year’s festival promises events packed with fun activities, delicious treats and vibrant entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

Events include:

  • July 17 — Kickoff to the 2024 Blueberry festival with a Blueberry Seniors Social hosted by CARP – Sudbury Chapter. Enjoy blueberry-themed refreshments, snacks, activities and live music at the Red Oak Villa Pub.
  • July 18 — Hike up Blueberry Hill – Join in a guided hike featuring a historical talk and refreshing pit stops along the way with a special guide.
  • July 19 — Blueberry Pie Eating Contest – Local celebrities and participants will vie for prizes and bragging rights in this thrilling contest.
  • July 19 — Blueberry Bash – Experience live entertainment, engaging activities, games and surprise guest performances throughout the event.
  • July 20 — Blueberry Pancake Breakfast – Indulge in an all-you-can-eat breakfast with blueberry pancakes, coffee, tea, juice, blueberry vendors and live music to kick off the day.
