Colette Savage of Sudbury is $250,000 richer after winning the top prize playing Instant Super Money Multiplier.

The retiree has been playing the lottery for 30 years and always shops at the same store. Prior to purchasing her winning ticket, she asked the clerk at the family-run store to recommend a new $10 game, and it’s a good thing she did.

She was eating a sandwich when she discovered her luck.

“I was eating my sandwich and started to play when I saw all the zeros,” she said. “I dropped my sandwich, scanned my ticket, and immediately called my brother. He asked, ‘Is this real?’ I was pacing, crying, and screaming. I couldn’t believe it.”

Colette looks forward to purchasing some new home furnishings and spoiling herself.

The winning ticket ((Game No. 2357) was purchased at Lasalle Kwikway on Lasalle Boulevard in Sudbury.
