A Sudbury man is facing an arson charge for an April house fire on Indian Mountain Road on Manitoulin Island.
Manitoulin OPP and Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands Fire Department were dispatched to the scene just after 2 a.m. on April 6. Indian Mountain Road intersects with Highway 6 just south of Sheguiandah and runs southwest to Green Bay Road.
A 37-year-old Sudbury man is facing one charge of arson - damage to property.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Gore Bay on July 2.
The investigation remains ongoing with the assistance of the Manitoulin Crime Unit.
